- What: The authors focus on the origin and radiation of Apollo butterflies (Papilionidae: Parnassiinae) whose origin has been estimated in the late Eocene in Central Asia. The authors investigate the impact of fossils on the dating analyses and estimation of the historical biogeography using the Apollo butterflies.
