SUMMARY

    The loss of SMC inhibits motor function more than other impairments such as spasticity and/or contractures, according to studies examining the consequences of different motor impairments in children with CP. The results of the study supported the findings of Mohammed et_al, who stated that MT enhance the SMC of the more affected upper extremity (UE) in spastic hemiplegic CP. Findings of the study agree with those of Mohan et_al, and Mohan et_al,, who showed that MT intervention can restore balance and gait after a stroke.
