  • what: The small size of the beam stop precluded the addition of a photodiode and thus a second experiment was carried out to determine the absorption of the sample. Using this approach, the authors have recently shown (Gruu0308newald et_al, 2020) localized orientation differences in human lamellar bone and interpreted them as a second, extrafibrillar mineral fraction.
