HIGHLIGHTS
- What: This research assesses the impact of metacognitive reading strategies on the reading comprehension of Grade 11 HUMSS students. Through this study, the authors aim to enrich educational practice by demonstrating the potential benefits of metacognitive strategies in creating more effective and strategic readers among senior high school students. This study shows that when students are equipped with metacognitive tools, they become more effective learners, fostering greater comprehension, confidence, and independence in their reading abilities.
