SUMMARY
Originally, the best way to ensure accrued accountability of all stakeholders was to disseminate its principles and values across educational systems around the world encouraging citizen participation through social activities. Nowadays, sustainable education is not just synonymous with Environmental Protection (Dimitriou, 2009) or Education for Peace, Human Rights Education, Environmental Education, Prevention of Racism and Violence (Sterling, 2001). With the new focus now being on key competencies includes competencies that cannot be taught but fostered so that the learning objectives can be met, the need for collective participatory and inclusive approaches adopted by educators . . .
