SUMMARY

The authors determine a revised calibration factor for PA-II monitors using all PurpleAir monitors located near regulatory PM2.5 Air Quality System (AQS) monitors using FRM in the West Coast states of Washington, Oregon, and California between the dates of 1 January 2017 through 8 September 2021. The authors also determine a new calibration factor for PA-I outdoor monitors by comparing them to nearby outdoor PA-II monitors. Because the PurpleAir company offers its PA-I monitor specifically for use indoors, there are many more PA-I monitors used indoors than PA . . .
