SUMMARY
Widespread legalization and decriminalization of cannabis across the United_States has been associated with a considerable rise in self-reported cannabis use amongst surgical patients, including those undergoing total joint arthroplasty. Total hip arthroplasty (THA) and total knee arthroplasty (TKA), collectively referred to as total joint arthroplasty (TJA), are among the most frequently performed surgeries in the United_States.
