• What: The authors investigated associations between cannabis use and biomarkers of inflammation. The model described by Lee et_al is of specific interest as previous epidemiological evidence has suggested that severe stressors may moderate the risk of psychosis substantially in early onset cannabis users (Harley et_al, 2010; Houston, Murphy, Adamson, Stringer, and amp; Shevlin, 2008). The authors report on a subgroup of 914 from the 3257 individuals who attended the age 24 clinic and provided a blood sample.
