SUMMARY
Studies of care that include gender issues analyze care practices in a way that is closer to the reality in which these practices are performed and provide information on the relationship between gender and caring. This review explores a number of studies of the care practices given by African women, in the case from the perspective of postcolonial feminism and African feminisms.
