  • What: This study attempts to investigate the moderation impact of concerning the link between (ACI) and the CEC (CEC) in Jordanian publicly listed companies. The authors specifically investigate the interaction effect between ACI and CEC. The model is aimed at ascertaining how mechanisms of corporate governance-audit committee independence and CEO duality affect the cost of equity capital directly and in moderation. The results of this study have several practical and policy implications.
