  • What: The aim of this study is to investigate the relations among childhood trauma, trajectories of EEG functional connectivity, and risk for AUD and PTSD in adolescence and young adulthood. While the study investigated connectivity in the frontal and central regions of the brain, other studies have seen lateral differences in the temporal region, such as smaller left hippocampal volume compared to controls (Bremner et_al, 1997; Shu et_al, 2013; Stein, Koverola, Hanna, Torchia, and amp; McCLARTY, 1997).
