  • What: Though beneficial effects of these amendments have been documented earlier, this study aimed to establish whether these amendments could maintain or improve the soil fertility and spinach plant growth with reduced fertilizer inputs. This study was conducted to explore the potentials of biochar, compost, and Bacillus tropicus as amendments to maintain or even enhance spinach production with reduced application of chemical fertilizers.
