The aim of this study was to examine whether and to what extent a mentalization-based intervention, bringing together aspects of psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral focused on emotion regulation would affect parental cognitive reappraisal (the subjective interpretation made by the parent to an emotional stimuli) in parents of children with ASD.
