Previous studies have investigated the dependence of radiomic features extraction on different image preprocessings for various applications, showing an appreciable (low or high) sensitivity of radiomic features estimate to preprocessing. For instance, Marfisi et_al, investigating the effect of image preprocessing (in terms of image resampling, discretization, and filtering) on radiomic features from cardiac T1 and T2 mapping, have found a remarkable dependence of feature estimates on image filters, while the sensitivity of many radiomic features to image resampling and discretization was limited.
