As discussed by Iannotta et_al, the ownership structure of commercial banks can be determined by two dimensions: one is the ownership concentration; the other is the nature of the owner. There is no significant difference in the nature of owners in the sample relative to ownership concentration, so the authors consider the relationship between ownership concentration and bank performance in this paper. Most scholars` research the impact of ownership on bank performance, often selecting commercial banks in a certain country or region, while this paper selects the top 100 commercial banks in the BVD . . .
