Comparative analysis of whole-body diffusion-weighted imaging and pet/ct in metastasis detection: a prospective study

HIGHLIGHTS

  • What: In this prospective study, the authors aimed to compare the sensitivity of whole-body diffusion-weighted imaging (WB-DWI) with positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) in detecting metastases. This study was conducted prospectively, and informed consent was obtained from all patients prior to the procedures. Although the study provides promising results for WB-DWI in detecting metastatic lesions, it has some limitations.
  • Who: Betul Akdal Dolek and colleagues from the Radiology, City Hospital, TUR Oncology, Gazi University, TUR, . Hematology have published the research work: Review began 08/03/2024 Review ended 11 . . .
