SUMMARY
The aim of this paper is to compare the capacity building included within the DRC REDD+ strategy with the capacity needs identified by stakeholders at the local and provincial level. Using data from workshops with provincial government stakeholders, the study compares capacity building challenges and needs identified by stakeholders at the provincial level with the DRC REDD+ strategy and Investment Plan, to identify overlaps and to highlight gaps in the REDD+ strategy.
