- what: This study investigated the major heavy metal contents in several species of seaweed and evaluated the potential health risks of Cd, Pb, and As for S. fusiforme obtained from this study was 0.078-0.179 µg/kg bw, and it was confirmed that these values meet the standard proposed by the JECFA.
