SUMMARY
The authors study conformal THz leaky-wave antennas at THz frequencies. In the implementation, the authors use an air-filled parallel-plate metal waveguide, which the authors engineer to conform to a cylindrical geometry, with an azimuthal slot aperture on the exterior surface to enable the guided wave to leak as it propagates around the cylinder (see Fig 1a). In conclusion, the authors have studied and demonstrated conformal leaky-wave antennas at THz frequencies.
