HIGHLIGHTS
- who: Christophe Gauld et al. from the CHU Grenoble Alpes, Grenoble, France have published the research work: Construction and Validation of an Analytical Grid about Video Representations of Suicide (“MoVIES”), in the Journal: (JOURNAL)
- what: The authors propose a theory-grounded tool that measures properties related to aberrant identification and suicidal contagion of potentially harmful suicide scenes. The authors aimed to test the ability of the MoVIES score to predict induced identification in viewers independently from emotional arousal and baseline empathy. The study was conducted on a non-clinical population for obvious ethical reasons.
