    PEG monotherapy has been proven to normalize IGF-I levels in about 90% of patients in clinical trials and near to 70% of patients in real- world studies. Recent studies have demonstrated that long-term (i.e. up to 10 years) PEG therapy improves disease control over time, both in monotherapy and in combination with SRLs.
