HIGHLIGHTS
- What: The aim of this paper is thus to illustrate that, despite the different types of corpora used, there is much alignment between the two fields in terms of their linguistic enquiries and methodologies employed. The final section of the paper discusses how both CADS and genre analysis researchers express similar views on future developments in their respective fields. (Hoey, 2005, pp. 11-12) Whereas CADS research is concerned with receptive primings, CBGA is, in the main, concerned with productive primings.
