• what: The authors show that five oligonucleotides can anneal into nanotubes or fibers whose tunable thicknesses and lengths spans four orders of magnitude. The authors demonstrate that the assemblies` location inside protocells is controllable to enhance their mechanical, functional and osmolar stability.
