• what: The authors report the near atomic resolution cryo-EM structures of GLUT4 bound to a small_molecule inhibitor Cytochalasin B (CCB) in detergent micelles and in lipid nanodiscs.
• how: This result is consistent with the C domain-localization of Arg416 as there is barely any relative motion between the C domain and ICH5 during the alternating access cycle (Fig 4a).
