SUMMARY
The modern surgical approach to varicose veins treatment is represented by venous reflux surgery. Of 10 Cryostripping is a minimally invasive surgical method used in varicose vein ablation, and is an effective and safe treatment modality in terms of postoperative complications, cosmetic results, and recurrence. The "pulse-wave" Doppler examination showed the reflux at the ostium level in the cases of great saphenous vein (GSV) and small saphenous vein (SSV) by the Valsalva manoeuvre performed in the orthostatic position.
