SUMMARY
The most relevant studies, in patients with cancer, have focused on the relationship between spiritual well-being, quality of life (QOL), and hope. The correct identification of the types of spiritual needs and their influencing factors in cancer patients, and comprehensively improving the medical staff `s awareness of the patients` spiritual needs are still an urgent problem to be solved.
