A supramolecular system comprises two or more molecular entities that are held together using non-covalent binding interactions. CDs can accommodate and modify the physicochemical properties of many entrapped bioactive drugs, such as antimicrobial agents, peptides, and nucleic_acid, etc., mainly in a suspension formulation.
