- who: Spodoptera frugiperda and collaborators from the Sfrugiperda Maize fodders were obtained from the experimental farm of the Plant Disease Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Assiut University, and corncobs were obtained from fields to see whether if there is any variation in FAW development, reproductive behavior, and damage characteristics because of larval feeding. Equal numbers of first instar larvae from the stock culture (N=, larvae) were placed in transparent plastic boxes, and this was repeated , times for each feeding host under the aforementioned rearing conditions.
