HIGHLIGHTS

• What: This study reports data from Irish hospitals. This study reports data from Irish hospitals within this global survey, 2.5 years after the INAD-2 findings and recommendations were publicly launched, to gain insight into current practice and barriers, across a wider patient population than just patients with dementia. The survey had been pretested with clinicians for understanding, feasibility, and time required. This study investigated the presence of written protocols for delirium and delirium-relevant conditions, Fig 1.
