  • What: This study used real-world data from a large sample of Italian GPs with the main objective of describing patients receiving a diagnosis of AF in a primary care context in terms of demographic and clinical characteristics, and healthcare resources utilization (HRUs). Patients` demographic and clinical characteristics, and HRUs were summarized overall to respond to the main objective of the study, and also across sub-cohorts defined by the presence/absence of NIF/LID prescriptions at Index Date.
