- What: The agricultural sector in Ethiopia would continue to be the main source of economic development and the growth of this sector would initiated from smallholder farmers, and the main reason for low productivity of teff is the low new improved teff varieties adoption by farm households . In this survey, both primary and secondary data were collected from different sources. In the study area own land, rented land, shared cropping lands and gift lands were used for production.
