SUMMARY

    Despite taking long-term viral suppression treatments, cure rates for hepatitis virus remain low (Manns et_al, 2017; Tang et_al, 2018), leaving patients to face a long-term risk of disease progression and a shorter life span. X. Chang et_al and X. Zhang et_al developed assessment models of liver injury and cirrhosis of viral hepatitis patients by using selected clinical characteristics (Chang et_al, 2021; Zhang et_al, 2021). Researchers have recently built models that take into account factors such as tumor markers, genomes, or transcriptomes for viral hepatitis patients with liver cancer to analyze the risk . . .
