SUMMARY
There has been a significant progress in the field of human stem_cells in recent years, with the main objective of reproducing the landmarks of neuronal disorders in_vivo and decipher the altered underlying mechanisms in a context that resembles pathophysiological conditions. The development of stem_cell transplantation models using human-induced pluripotent stem_cells (hiPSCs) is also expected to offer new advances for regenerative medicine purposes, with the possibility of using specifically the allogeneic sources of these cells to produce autografts without the need for immunosuppression.
