- What: The aim of the present analysis was to assess the prevalence of dietary supplement (DS) intake among women before and after a breast diagnosis. The prevalence the authors report is comparable to findings from a recent German survey that found that 59.8% of women with breast cancer took DS after their diagnosis . This may have resulted in an overall discrepancy between the DS use the authors report in this study and behavior from the entire cohort, although other studies have reported similar findings.
