HIGHLIGHTS

• What: The aim of this study is to examine the differences in the frequency of mental health problems by sexual orientation and gender identity in first-year university students in Chile during the pandemic. The survey assesses different mental health problems using screening instruments. Multiple imputation by chained equations was used to impute missing data for mental health problems that were randomized in the survey design.
