- who: Muhammad Asef Shaiq and collaborators from the Department of Agricultural Management and Development, University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran have published the research work: Dimensions of Poverty in Kunduz Province of Afghanistan, in the Journal: Nutrition
- what: This research showed that about 50% of the Indian population faced multidimensional poverty. Since poverty is a comparative phenomenon, this study attempted to change the MPI indicators to better reflect actual poverty in Kunduz. Since poverty is not a one-dimensional phenomenon, this study evaluated it from different aspects based on specific criteria and indices.
