Bone marrow mononuclear cells (BMMCs) were isolated from three MM patients and four healthy donors using Ficoll-Hypaque density gradient centrifugation. CD138+ MM cells were purified from the BMMCs of MM patients by Human , MicroBeads (Miltenyi Biotech, Auburn, CA). Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) were generated from BMMCs of MM patients.
