SUMMARY
In 2018, the International Classification of Headache Disorders, 3rd edition (ICHD-3) classified primary headache disorder into four subtypes, including migraine, tensiontype headache (TTH), trigeminal autonomic cephalalgia, and other primary headaches. According to the conclusions from the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) 2016 Headache Collaborators, approximately three billion individuals suffered from TTH and migraine worldwide in 2016, among which 1.89 billion suffered from TTH and 1.04 billion suffered from migraine. When analysed by age, the prevalence rates of both migraine and TTH reached their peaks between the ages of 35 and 39 . . .
