SUMMARY

    Combined analysis of SARS-CoV-2 mRNA_vaccines revealed a coordinated immune_response mediated by a rapid antigen-specific CD4+ T_cell response followed by a gradual development of CD8+ T_cells more variable in magnitude. Specifically, circulating T follicular helper (Tfh) cells represent a key fraction of specific CD4+ T_cells being crucial for the development of memory B cells, plasma cells and support antibody response following vaccination. Memory spike-specific CD8+ T_cells produce mainly IFN-g and co-express granzyme B exhibiting an effector memory surface phenotype.
