Machado from the Samples Human blood mononuclear cells (MNCs) were obtained from four sources: (1) bone marrow, spleen and peripheral blood taken with written informed consent (provided by next-of-kin) from three deceased transplant organ donors (KX001, KX002, KX003) recruited from Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Trust, Addenbrooke's Hospital (by Cambridge Biorepository for Translational Medicine, Research Ethics Committee approval, EE/0152), (2) peripheral blood taken with written informed consent from one patient (AX001) recruited from Addenbrooke's Hospital (approval, MRE05-44), (3) tonsil taken with written informed consent from guardians of two patients . . .
