    Cryptic species within Paratylenchus have emerging biological evidence that is proposed for those species which disclose low morphological, but substantial genetic difference. A prominent case of outstanding cryptic species diversity within Paratylenchus is the P. straeleni-complex species distinguishing 4-9 presumed species, including one new species recently described from southern Spain, viz.
