Does coproduction enhance quality of public infrastructure?

HIGHLIGHTS

• What: Using the Afro-barometer wave-6 dataset on Uganda the authors develop the appropriate coproduction indexes as well as the road maintenance performance indexes from the survey data. The survey provides evidences on the quality of democracy and governance in Uganda. The goodness of fit shows that the model has a good fit, further confirming the robustness of the baseline results. In this table, the authors examine if the baseline results are driven by each of these 7 items.
