SUMMARY
In pre-pandemic conditions, mental health programs implemented in the school context had a considerate positive impact with a recognition of the importance of integrating social and emotional skills into the school curriculum. With COVID-19 lockdowns and its already identified implications on children and adolescents` mental health, it is even more critical to implement these programs, for example, during lockdown periods with online school.
