HIGHLIGHTS

  • who: Renaud Sabatier et al. from the Paoli-Calmettes Marseille, Marseille, France, SIB-Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics, Geneva, Switzerland, Department of Human Protein Science, University of Geneva have published the paper: Down-Regulation of ECRG4, a Candidate Tumor Suppressor Gene, in Human Breast Cancer, in the Journal: (JOURNAL)
  • what: Through the analysis of more than 350 breast cancers, the authors show that ECRG4 is underexpressed in 94% of tumors. The authors show that DNA loss, although relatively frequent (18%), cannot explain the high frequency of downregulation.
