• what: In the current study, two heterozygous Cdkn1c-Fluc-lacZ mESC clones, that had been used to generate these animals, as well as MEFs derived from these mice (Fig 1a), were examined in detail. The authors have demonstrated that bioluminescent reporter genes can provide accurate, convenient and sequential temporal readouts of endogenous allelic expression and epigenetic regulation and disruption.
