• What: The authors demonstrated the effect of the chemical composition of an uncharged polymer poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) and pH on the rheological properties and structure of its mixtures with a cationic surfactant erucyl bis(hydroxyethyl)methylammonium chloride already exploited in fracturing operations. The authors investigate the rheological properties and structure of hybrid selfassembled networks in aqueous solutions containing a hydrophilic water-soluble poly- processed with MestReNova software (version 14.2.1-27684, MestReLab Research S Santiago de Compostela, Spain).
