SUMMARY
The interplay between attrition rates and physical integrity determines the functional survival time of LLINs, which varies considerably between countries. The brand of LLINs has also been reported to be significantly associated with physical integrity, and functional survival time of LLINs. Since malaria distribution is highly heterogenous, and LLIN functional survival varies across geographical locations, there is a need to assess the durability of LLINs in different settings across Ethiopia.
