SUMMARY
The article aims to identify existing research gaps in the field of eco-design for composite materials while proposing new directions to generate eco-design for products made from composite materials with a polymer matrix. The search was conducted using the following keywords: eco-design, sustainable design, design for environment, ecological design, green product design, design for sustainability, eco-design of composite materials, recycling of composite materials, increasing life span of composite materials, innovative design for composite materials. Simultaneously, scientific articles providing ecological solutions for polymer composite materials were identified using keywords such as eco-friendly composite . . .
