  • What: In the present study, the studied forest systems were found to store 27 percent (SF) to 44 percent (DDF) of the total carbon stocks (upto 1 m depth) in the upper 30 cm of layer. The results of this study showed that the finest fraction (clay and silt) in the SF and EVG forest systems had double the amount of carbon content than macroaggregates. The correlation analysis in this study showed that clay and sand show a negative and positive correlation, respectively, with the organic carbon in all the studied ecosystem, except DDF (Fig 7 to . . .
