SUMMARY
Otitis ‘Otitis` is used to describe inflammation of the external ear canal (otitis externa), of the middle ear structures (otitis media) and inner ear (otitis interna). The rabbit external ear canal extends to the tympanum and is supported by three auricular cartilages that interlock and support the ear - the cartilaginous acoustic meatus or annular cartilage (which connects to the vertical bony acoustic meatus arising from the bulla), the smaller scutiform . . .
